Guitar Center Davenport opened on July 27th, 2006.  Since then, we've changed the store countless times to accommodate our growing selection of guitars, drums, pa systems, keyboards, and accessories.  Every time we think we’ve seen it all, something new and amazing comes out. 

I’m sure some of you remember the days of reel to reel recording and giant mixing consoles.  Now we have half a wall of recording interfaces that let you run it all from your computer.  Because of this, we have a free class every Saturday at 10:00 AM to get you started with recording software.  We use Garage Band, but the same basic techniques can get you on your way to creating your own songs with just about any program you could imagine.

Another recent edition to the services we offer is the GC Garage.  We have a full time guitar tech that can do everything from changing your strings to installing pickups and carving and installing custom carved bone nuts.
