   Guitar Center Fort Worth, or GC Cowtown affectionately, opened to the world on May 6, 2004 to a line of customers wrapped around the shopping center. Many of the customers from that first night still visit our store weekly or monthly because of what you'll immediately recognize as a down-home vibe when you visit GC Fort Worth for the first time.
   Like any of your favorite hang outs, Guitar Center's best asset is it's people. From legendary guitar expert Brent Wall who's been with Guitar Center since 1995 to our amazing guitar tech guru, Gerald Ray, whose list of personal clients includes many famous and infamous Texas guitar slingers, you'll meet friendly people that will make you feel like a long time customer the first time you come in. That's just how we do it here in Fort Worth!
   Another special thing about GC Cowtown is our Vintage Drum Selection! If you're into cool drums from the 1920's-present, you must visit our drum shop! And if you've never played a real Black Beauty, you'll find several to choose from most of the time, here. Also, if you have some older drums you'd like appraised, call anytime and ask for Scott or Nathan. We're always happy to talk old drums.
   We offer Intro to Recording classes most Saturday mornings at 10am if you're trying to get going with recording your music! They're free, and you'll always leave knowing something you didn't, so it's definitely worth getting up early for!
   We're so blessed to be part of such a rich musical environment here in Fort Worth. Most of our employees here at GC Fort Worth play out live when we're not at our "day job".
