I started with my journey with Guitar Center Canton back in 2007. Like most musicians I was working a job that didn't provide me with any real fulfillment. I applied and after the interview process was hired. I have worked in guitars, accessories, and pro audio. I love all things music. I have worked as a live sound engineer, DJ, and have played guitar in various bands. I have a soft spot in my heart for Fender Stratocasters, and Peavey tube amps. I have owned a couple of 5150's, and currently own a Peavey Classic 50w 410 combo. I play a beat up Fender Stratocaster named Sally that I absolutely love. I have been DJ'ing for 15 years, and currently belong to a DJ crew based in Ypsilanti Michigan called the Wax Kings, and DJ in the metro Detroit area to this day. I have a set of black Technics SL1200mk2 turntables and a whole slew of mixers, that include a Pioneer DJM600s, a Numark DXM06, a Stanton SKONE battle mixer, and a Vestax PCV003. I have toured the country opening shows for Donald Glaude, Charles Feelgood, and Bassnectar just to name a few. My instruction in music started at an early age with piano lessons starting in third grade, then trumpet starting in 5th. I bought my first electric guitar my freshman year of high school, it was a 1963 Sears Silvertone with the original case with a 5 watt tube amp built right in. I was hooked the minute that I plugged it in and began to strum the only chords I knew how to play. My dad started me listening to Frank Zappa at an early age instilling me with an appreciation for musicians that were extremely technical. I have taken a Zappa approach towards music my whole life practicing and research to raise my proficiency with any task that I undertake. I love my work and helping people achieve their musical ideas and goals. If you need anything from anyplace in the store please come see me I would be happy to help.

UPDATE: Well I figured I would bring you guys up to speed on the things that have ocurred in recent months. I recently played a show in Ypsolanti with the legendary Dj Assault. It was amazing, Craig is a total showman. I have a ton of gigs coming up. I will be performing at the Lakes of Fire Festival in June. I have a Hip-Hop Tag set with DJ Prophet Ecks for the Wax Kings in July. We will be performing with Sata Don Data. Also I have aquired a new guitar amp. I just recently picked up one of the new Marshall DSL40c combo amp. I am absolutley in love with it. I didn't know my Strat could sound so good. It just goes to show you what a little upgrade will do for your tone. Also if you are into electronic dance music I have been working closely with a radio station out of Detroit that sponsors events at The Hastings Street Ballroom in detroit.
