On August 26th 2004, almost 1000 people gathered in lines to see what the newly-opened Guitar Center Peoria had in store for them, and since that time, musicians from all walks of life just kept on coming. Whether you're an aspiring metal drummer or an experienced gigging folk guitarist, our friendly and knowledgable staff are proud to help you find the instrument or sound gear you need to put your skills into action. Plus, we're located just a few moments away from Interstate 74 in the Westlake Shopping Center (right between The Fresh Market and Sushigawa), so we're very easy to find.
Our 10,165 square foot store is stuffed with a seemingly endless range of instruments and equipment, from guitars and amps to pedals, cymbals and more. In fact, we have the largest collection of used gear within 200 miles. Additionally, our Live Room has a fully interactive recording studio display with Imac computers, cutting-edge recording software, and even a state-of-the-art Lighting Show. We also offer a free "Recording Made Easy" workshop every Saturday morning. If there's anything else you're curious about, give us a call! We can easily be reached at 309-685-5819.
We also offer comprehensive repair services at our Peoria location. Our techs loving playing their instruments as much as you do, and have the know-how needed to keep them performing at their best. Whether you need a quick adjustment or a complete overhaul, we've got the equipment and know-how to take care of it. The repairs department would love to hear from you: in fact, we encourage it! Call or come in for a face-to-face chat about the work that we do. You'll have no doubt that your gear is in good hands when it's time for a repair.
