She also made commendable feats earning herself Arts Commendation, Arts Colours and Arts Centenary for 3 years of exemplary service to one or more art societies. After college she has dedicated her time and focus into music production and songwriting.

    Daniel Pinto is a guitarist and instrumentalist from Bakersfield, CA. Daniel's musical journey started out in high school when he played guitar for the first time at the age of 15. Instantly having a connection with the guitar and love for the instrument, Daniel was driven to pursue an education in music. This led him to attend Musicians Institute, in Los Angeles, California, where he received an AA degree in guitar performance. Upon graduating from M.I., Daniel landed several overseas contracts as a hired guitarist in countries such as Indonesia, Bahrain, the UAE, and China. This cemented his learning even further after playing many gigs with live bands over the course of a couple years. After his contracts were up, he decided to come back to California where he began teaching out in Lancaster at Mel Brooker Music. Outside of teaching, Daniel continues to play in the Bakersfield community and has his own band.

    Gabriel Donate Jr. is a drummer with a penchant for exhibiting infectious grooves and providing a strong backbone to any band. Born in Huntington Park, California and raised in Paramount, Gabe has always been surrounded by a variety of music genres. His musical journey began at the age of 13 when he was inspired by his grandpa and uncle, and other musicians after watching them perform. Being surrounded by multiple types of music genres he grew an appreciation for all types of music and grew a strong passion and understanding for latin styles. Gabe since then has devoted his time and energy into learning and making music on the drums. More so that he pursued music in college and graduated from Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, CA with a degree in Drum Performance and minor in Music Business. Since then, he has gone on to perform with many international Latin artists and bands and has even gone on tour. He has also released several recordings and has been featured on several records. Along the way, Gabriel has also had the privilege of teaching in the SLAM program where he taught elementary students how to be a part of a band and play music together. He has also taught at Musicians Institute as an aid where he taught rhythm reading and performed with students.

    Tyler Jordan is a South Florida native who began playing music as a child. He played violin from elementary school through middle school before learning the tenor saxophone in high school. After graduating, Tyler learned music production and electric bass and began writing and composing through his college years. Tyler has recorded and performed many styles of music from classical to rock and roll. He has arranged and performed in hip-hop string shows, and even toured on saxophone with a gospel choir in Spain.     Rafael Berrones is a guitarist and instrumentalist from Bakersfield, CA. Originally from Delano, CA, Rafael's journey began at the age of 13 when he was inspired by one of his good friends to pursue music. He began with a simple chord book that his father got for him and taught himself how to play guitar. Moving into high school his music teacher took a notice into his chord knowledge and invited him to join a contemporary music class. Through this class Rafael was able to develop skills and tools to be able to confidently play across many types of genres. Moving on from his schooling, Rafael further honed his skills and began playing guitar in live settings with bands and even taking it a step further in stepping into recording and doing session work. Most recently, Rafael has taken steps into music education and teaches music to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities at a local nonprofit. With his experience he hopes to be able to inspire and build up the next generation of excellent musicians!

    Celeste Estes is a pianist and floutist from Bakersfield, CA. Celeste began her musical journey as a young kid singing in children’s choir and taking dance class. Around the age of 10, she took an interest in piano and took her first class from a lady at her church. After a year or so of developing her skills on the piano she began learning how to play the flute. After a sudden departure from her piano teacher, her and her parents discussed the future of lessons and decided to focus more on the flute. Naturally, flute became her main priority for an extensive time until she became an adult where she started investing more in piano, studying at college and then privately. Throughout college, Celeste played flute in the college band, community band and various projects involving choirs and musical productions. After receiving her degree with a minor in music and her B.A. in Spanish, Celeste moved towards teaching in the schools where she would further her skills and teaching experience. Alongside her flute capabilities she has spent the last 20 years now investing more in her ability to play the piano. She has been teaching piano for several years and flute in the past. She truly enjoys the experience of helping raise the next generation of musicians along with mentoring adults. As Celeste begins her teaching journey at Guitar Center, she is excited to bring even more people to music!

Over the years, George has developed into a versatile performer and mentor, with a collaborative spirit and commitment to musical growth. With his emphasis on practical playing, musical understanding, and genre-specific techniques, he is excited to take this next step into teaching at Guitar Center!
