I have been playing guitar the age of 13. I first started with Country Rock where I learned to read charts and notation. This was mostly acoustic originated music. Soon after I was introduced to Rock and Heavy Metal, which I attempted to play in the local bands. As the years progressed I became more interested in improvisation, which was limited. I soon found my expertise specialized enough to be in a popular Orange County and LA band which sold out clubs everywhere. However, I was still longing to be a better musician. At that time I enrolled in college to study music theory. This led to instruction by a local jazz musician, who changed my life with a active and challenging approach to playing guitar. I was also taking lessons from Ron Eschete, who was one the best jazz chord melody player in the world and an on sight professor at Cal State Fullerton. All the theory and application of sight reading allowed me to be a music director at many large local churches for over 20 years. Then I found myself privately teaching and working as a improvisation teacher at Academy Of Performing Arts. I have now been teaching for over 20 years and continue to grow as an active musician in Jazz, Progressive Rock and Indie Rock.

Amanda's first experience teaching was at the age of 12 when she took large classroom setting lessons from Bob Seger's touring guitarist, reviewing lesson plans and giving one on one assistance to her peers while he left for tour. In High School Amanda Competitively sang Italian Opera, competed in Solo & Ensemble earning top ratings, performed in community production musicals, gigged within her Glee Club at corporate events, and played Guitar and Piano with her School's Jazz Band locally. Her first experience professionally gigging and touring was on Vans Warped Tour in 2017 filling in as a guitarist and female guest vocalist. Amanda's first experience recording songs she'd written and composed herself began in 2018 under a Universal subsidiary label. She currently writes, records and sings for her band with renowned bassist, Bob Daisley (Ozzy Osbourne, Rainbow, Gary Moore, Black Sabbath), where she has recently collaborated and recorded with large names in Classic Rock and Modern Rock. Her first global release, a cover of Peter Green's "A Fool No More", features bandmate Bob Daisley and blues drummer Rob Grosser (Jon Lord's Hoochie Coochie Men). Amanda has also worked with professional musicians from veterans to up and coming names in the industry, assisting them with designing gear to dial in on their ideal tone for arena touring and recording purposes.
