Christopher Gutierrez Martinez is an electric and acoustic guitar player born and raised in Southern California. He started playing guitar at age 13 and has been playing professionally for over 9 years. Following high school, he attended Saddleback Community College for the Commercial Music Program under guidance from Dr. Ariel Alexander (Music Director, Transcriber for Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, The Voice, Super Bowl) and Dr. Adam Hawley (Guitar Player for Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, NSYNC and Solo Smooth Jazz Artist). He also auditioned and got into the highly competitive Applied Music Program where he and his colleagues were pushed to the test with weekly performances, private lessons, and music theory. He graduated Saddleback College with an AA Degree in Commercial Music Performance for Guitar and 2 certificates for Music Production Studies and has recently graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music for his Bachelor’s Degree Songwriting and Music Production. Outside of Music, Christopher loves to skateboard, drink lots of coffee and hang out with friends and family.
