As a result I received the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award which is given to the top high school jazz musician at the high school level. I have also been a part of several different bands personally as well and have played many live shows, including being asked to be a weekly act at Metro Ale House in Pomona as well as being invited to play a charity event for the American Cancer Society in Ontario.
