    My name is Mike Zion! I have been playing drums since 1996 and piano for over 30 years. Drums are my primary instrument, however, I started with piano lessons when I was a young child. My piano experience makes me an ideal teacher for elementary aged and even adult beginner piano students! I have sat in on Jazz Jam playing drums. I have also been in several rock bands playing drums, most recently Axis of Empire. I have been teaching drum set and piano since 2009, and love to see my students grow as musicians and people.
