Music has been an interest of mine since I was a teenager. I actually took lessons at Guitar Center for awhile as a teenager to help hone my skills. After working as a sales associate for awhile at Guitar Center I decided to go to college and put some education with my music interest. I came back full circle to Guitar Center to pay it forward to the company that helped me develop my skills. Along with the musical skills I have also pursued education in musical technology which deals with recording and DAW such as Logic, Ableton Live, and Garage band.

I have always been passionate about music. I started playing electric guitar around 20 years ago. The early years were centered around rock, classic rock, and some metal. Because my passion I learned to play bass and ended up getting a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition from IUSB. Besides performing with college jazz bands I have played both at local events/venues as a fill in musician. Being classically trained for piano along with the metal experience for electric/acoustic guitar and bass gives me a sense of balance when it comes to my music taste.

I grew up surrounded by musicians and loving music. I started banging pots and pans at around 3 years old and have been playing every since. I started playing in church and eventually my love transferred to high school. I was a part of the marching band, orchestra, pep band, jazz band etc.... everything musical was my life. I have had opportunities to play in a few bands around like Young Life, and performed at events like the Memorial Day Parade etc... and local venues. I'm currently interested in passing the skills and knowledge to the legends of today!!

Music has always been my passion. From elementary school to college, I played in a variety of wind bands, jazz bands, orchestras and small ensembles. After graduating Ball State University with a degree in music education, I came back to my hometown to work as a teacher in the Elkhart community school system and as a Section Coach with the South Bend Youth Symphony. Music is definite my passion and I love sharing my passion with others.
