Steward has recording credits on three of Zappa's albums, and has performed in France, Amsterdam, and England.     Nelson grew up in Wichita, Kansas, and at a young age he was introduced to the very first Guitar Hero game when it was first released. He realized that he loved making music and quickly joined concert band playing the loudest instrument available (drums according to the teacher). He continued playing percussion throughout high school and college where he received his bachelor's degree in Music Composition. Part of his formal education included drums, orchestral percussion, piano proficiency, and music theory. Nelson played guitar for weddings, high school concerts, musicals, and places of worship.     Julian Urrego is a Colombian American guitarist/multi-instrumentalist and songwriter currently based here in Wichita, KS. He is an active performer in the Wichita music scene while studying jazz guitar under William Flynn at Wichita State University. With a broad palette of musical and cultural influences, he has delved into the music scenes of Kansas and Texas, exploring jazz, free improvisation, Latin, metal, punk, and folk music.     Phil started in a small town outside of Philadelphia, PA. He was inspired by a family friend playing Crazy Train riff by Ozzy Osbourn. His first lessons were through a local music store and joint Jazz band in high school. He started taking private jazz and classical lessons when he had the opportunity to take private lessons with Richie Kotzen (solo artist, Poison and The Winery Dogs) and Al Pitrelli (Alice Cooper and Trans-Siberian Orchestra). He earned his Jazz Performance degree in 1997 while starting to build a touring resume playing guitar for the Charles Fambraugh Trio. In 1999, his band was signed to a major label beginning a 15 year relationship that included 5 albums and 2500 shows. In 2015, Phil began his studio career working with Randall Allen (Movie Producer) and artists such as Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Al Pitrelli (Trans-Siberian Orchestra), Corey Glover (Living Colour), Jeff Scott Soto (Trans-Siberian Orchestra), Derek Sherinian (ex-Dream Theater, Alice Cooper), Brian Tichy (Gene Simmons, ex-Billy Idol), Stu Hamm (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Eric Johnson) and many more. Phil is currently touring with The Voice contestant Country Artist Jake Gill and working on a new album of progressive rock/progressive metal originals including a track with Corey Glover of Living Colour. Has been teaching at Guitar Center since 2025.
