    At the age of 14, Kristi's sister brought him to his first punk show. This was a mesmerizing experience that inspired him to start learning the bass, and shortly after, getting into guitar.     When the New Wave British Invasion hit the states, a 16 year old Michael knew he had to be a musician. Influenced by the in-your-face style of bass and guys like John Taylor and Bernard Edwards. Michael began taking lessons right away, where he found that learning music theory from his teacher was a saving grace to his musical progression. He eventually graduated with a professional diploma in songwriting from Berklee. He started playing in New Wave Pop bands, then became a solo artist in the 90's, releasing 2 self-produced albums. Currently he is the bass player of the Yacht Rock Band "Below Deck". Michael makes an emphasis on the importance of theory and ear training for a musician, while also valuing scoring, foundational rhythms, song arrangement and song analysis.

    Who wasn't influenced by Guitar Hero? Many of Chasia's taste is music stems from her and her brother playing GH and Rock Band on the Wii. She began her journey as a musician at the age of 12 where she began drumming in her church. Shortly after, she switched to guitar, only picking drums back up a few years ago. Chasia has been heavily involved in her church band since childhood, leading the band while creating back tracks, maintaining instruments and operating cameras. Her teaching experience stems from instructing the band and also leading youth groups for a good part of her early adult life. Chasia's enthusiastic and encouraging attitude helps teach her students how to add flair to their playing and prepare them to play in a band setting. She takes the Ratatouille approach to teaching "anyone can learn".

    In elementary school, others took notice to Nathan's natural singing voice, giving him the confidence to begin participating in a wide variety of musical endeavors. Nathan's school had many offerings for him to develop his vocal talents, including chorus, ensembles and a theater program. He would eventually shift to programs outside of school, joining a youth choir in Worcester and eventually performing with the "Master Singers of Worcester". Nathan has been involved in church choirs, serving as Choir Director of a Greek Orthodox church and a Cantor in a variety of others. He has also served as the Tenor Section Leader at Assabet Valley Master Singers. Nathan has received his Major in Vocal Performance (with a minor in History) and is also a multi-instrumentalist, demonstrating piano proficiency as well as ability on Trumpet, which he has played since childhood.

    Miles began his musical journey at age 13, where he picked up the old guitar in the corner and was immediately entranced by the instrument. Miles passion for guitar came naturally, and was not influenced by outside sources. Throughout freshman year, he began practicing more seriously, putting countless hours into learning Beatles and Oasis songs. During junior year, he joined a Beatles cover band with his drummer friend. They played some gigs here and there, even performing at a fireworks show to a few hundred people. Currently, He is part of the rock band "Longing for Autumn", where he is the main songwriter and lead vocalist. Miles is also currently the president of Music Club at QCC, where he directs and guides performers. Miles approaches lessons from the viewpoint of his students, emphasizing the importance of having fun and remaining enthusiastic towards the instrument.

    "Why doesn't your son take lessons?" Words that changed his life forever. Oliver had been messing around on the drum set in the local music shop his sister was taking violin lessons at, where this was suggested to his father by the employees who took notice to Oliver's excitement towards the instrument. This led him on a path that would bring him to being in school bands, becoming Music Director at WPI, and performing to 10,000 people in Dayton Ohio for a country-wide marching competition. Oliver has also been in a couple bands over the years, currently performing with the band "Optimal". He is actively gigging multiple shows a month and performs at many events and festivals through his school.
