    Martin Hamlet
    Distance: mi
Guitar Center Raleigh 3100 Capitol Blvd Raleigh, NC
Hey my name is Martin! I love the guitar and have been messing around with it since I was 8. I am competent on acoustic, electric, ukulele, and bass; I am able to teach on whatever your student wants to learn. I think teaching breaks down into two pathways: theory and technique. Theory is the way music notation and knowledge relate to the chosen instrument. Technique is the way it is applied. We will split time between the topics accordingly as the goals of the student come into view. I have a great passion for music and see its ultimate goal as a way to bring others together. I teach my students to play with others and provide them with skills to better succeed in group environments. This is my favorite way to improve, as it teaches theory and puts it into practice immediately. Feel free to ask me questions if you see me. Feel free to get on my schedule. I’d love to have you!

Hey! My name is Adam and I am a self-taught guitar player from North Carolina. I've been playing guitar since I was 14 and am currently pursuing a music studies minor at North Carolina State. I played clarinet in band in middle school and went to all-county a couple of times. I have experience in both guitar and bass, although I have also dabbled in clarinet, piano, and drums. I love playing with other musicians in the Triangle and having a good time! I am a lover of all genres of music although I find myself mostly listening to 70s - early 2000s rock. I like interacting with people and getting to know you, as well as helping you find the best ways to learn and grow as a musician overall to meet your music goals. I'm stoked to help teach everyone about the wonders of music!
