    I began playing saxophone in 4th grade. After studying with Steve Fieldhouse I learned the foundation of how chords are constructed through playing arpeggios on the saxophone. I also learned how to improvise during saxophone lessons. After learning to play guitar and joining a band in 9th grade I knew music was the path for me. I went on to study with Marcia Englar at Millersville University and graduated in 2014 with a degree in Music Business and Technology.

    I have been with Guitar Center since September of 2015, and in our Harrisburg location since June of 2017. I started playing guitar at 13 years old, and immediately latched on to music and composition, practicing for 2 hours in the evenings after school. At 17, i started busking and performing at events in downtown Lancaster PA alongside my partner. We are now married and continue making music together today. Playing an instrument has led to so many positive things in my life, and i am honored to be a part of helping others find a way to make music a part of their stories like it has been ever-present in mine.
