Growing up with both parents being singer/guitar players my education started early. After years of working on the basics i decided to continue my formal education with a GIT grad from California. After four years of training in music theory and composition i decided to continue my education by completing Berklee college of music books one and two. Through all that i started training in Classical , Jazz , Flamenco , Blues , Ragtime , Bluegrass , Folk , Rock and Metal. Along side of different styles i worked on open tunings and both speed picking and finger picking. I started my live performance with original music in Providence and surrounding areas opening up for acts such as Peter Wolf , 10,000 maniacs and many little known bands that later became popular. Later i worked in many bands in the Rhode Island cover scene. I am still currently working all over Southern New England. Once i started teaching it didn't take long to realize my passion for passing on the gift of music. Out of my 38 years of playing i have been teaching for 25+ years. One of the most important things i learned was to taylor the lesson to the students personal needs and interests. Whether your a beginner or want to get out of the box and improve on your knowledge of music , i've got you!
