Hi, my name is Joseph; my musical journey started when I began singing in my church's children's choir, after that I began learning guitar and piano at 8. I also played violin in my school orchestra and won multiple talent shows playing guitar. I studied music theory, jazz guitar and studio art at University of South Carolina, also received certification in music theory from the University of Edinburgh, and modal interchange, tensions & harmonic function from Berklee College of Music. I compose music and have recorded my own material, as well as recorded professionally in a studio. I performed and toured with record label artist Invoking the Abstract. I have over 10 years of teaching experience in music, teach all ages from beginner to advanced students My goal is to help people progress with their own musical journeys and have fun!
