    Rich Eberlen has been playing guitar for more than 35 years. During that time, Rich served in the United States Air Force where he played guitar in the band program for more than 10 years. While in the Air Force he played in a variety of ensembles including the Rock, Country and Jazz bands and toured the Southwest. He also studied Classical guitar under Gerald Klickstein and Jazz guitar under Matt Dunne both guitar professors at UTSA. Additionally, Rich holds 5 design patents for inventions geared toward guitarists and is an experienced guitar teacher. His most recent patent is an attachment that converts a guitar into a Harp Guitar. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of music with others.

    I began playing music in the 5th grade as a second chair violinist. During this time, I was also trained in classical music theory. My studies afforded me an eclectic understanding of theory in general. Over the past 20 years I have also learned and taught piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, guitar synth and modular synth. The next phase of my journey was audio engineering. Over the past 15 years, I have trained, learned, leveraged and utilized various recording techniques (including proper subtractive EQ, compression, signal flow/routing, etc.). This has allowed me to assist local talent with personal amd professional projects. I place emphasis on quality recordings as well as passing on the essential knowledge for said quality.
