Mark started his musical journey at the age of 9 with guitar, and has been playing and performing ever since. Mark is a popular Texas Music singer/songwriter thourghout the state of Texas and throught the country as well. His award winning group the Mark Gorman Band has been gigging since 1997 and has played shows as far away as Russia. Mark was also a High School Choir and Guitar Teacher for 31 Years at Midlothian, lancaster, and Palmer High Schools. Currently he is the Studio Recording his 6th Album and can be found at the Cedar Hill guitar Center on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

I began playing music in the 5th grade as a second chair violinist. During this time, I was also trained in classical music theory. My studies afforded me an eclectic understanding of theory in general. Over the past 20 years I have also learned and taught piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, guitar synth and modular synth. The next phase of my journey was audio engineering. Over the past 15 years, I have trained, learned, leveraged and utilized various recording techniques (including proper subtractive EQ, compression, signal flow/routing, etc.). This has allowed me to assist local talent with personal amd professional projects. I place emphasis on quality recordings as well as passing on the essential knowledge for said quality.
