    Colin Drake started playing at age 7. He grew up in London and after gaining a History degree from the University of London, changed direction and trained as a Music Teacher. By day, he spent 13 years teaching over 500 students per week in public schools. He was promoted to Head of Music in one of the largest schools in the UK where his department doubled their success percentage. By night, he performed in various rock bands and released several album recordings. A family man, he now lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and performs on drum set and guitar for fun. His performance specialties include all styles; with a focus on Rock, Classical, Folk, and Blues. As for teaching style, Colin is able to teach all skill levels; but particularly likes to focus on beginners, those wanting to focus on playing in a band, and those writing and recording their own music.

    Hagen began playing music at the age of 6. Starting with piano and voice, he picked up other instruments such as drums, guitar, bass, and ukulele as time went on. Throughout high school and college he performed in many musical theatre performances such as Guys and Dolls, Bye Bye Birdie, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, and many more. He also started to play in local bands at this time and won a battle of the bands. From there, Hagen went on to University of North Texas to study voice but learned so much more in his time there. He watched every jazz performance he could and continued to play in local bands.     From Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada, Dave Farrell is a bassist, musical director, and educator. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz studies from St. Francis Xavier University, Dave relocated to Denton, Texas to begin his Graduate studies at the University of North Texas. While at UNT, Dave was a part of many different groups such as the UNT Latin Jazz Ensemble and the 3’Oclock Lab Band. Since graduating with a Masters in Jazz Studies, Dave has been keeping busy as an educator, performing musician, and most recently, has started doing more work as a studio musician. Aside from teaching lessons at the Guitar Center in Denton Texas, Dave is playing with many projects. Some of which include The BoomBachs (hip-hop/soul/jazz), MNKR (rock), Brian Lambert (country), Justin Tipton (blues), Simon Flory (bluegrass/folk), and Andrew Tinker (singer/songwriter). When not playing with these main projects, Dave can be heard as a top call substitute bass player for various other bands.
