Cooper Johnson is a versatile percussionist, drummer, and music producer with experience in orchestral, marching and commercial music settings. He completed a Master of Arts in Record Production at the University of West London (2023–2024) and earned a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from the Eastman School of Music (2018–2022), where he was awarded a Performer’s Certificate. As an orchestral musician, Cooper currently serves as a substitute percussionist with the Waco Symphony Orchestra and has performed with the Hounslow Symphony Orchestra in London. During his time at Eastman, he held rotating principal roles with both the Eastman Philharmonia and Wind Ensemble and performed with the Eastman Percussion Ensemble. His rudimental drumming experience includes marching snare drum with the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps and the Tyler Junior College Indoor Drumline. Cooper has worked as a session drummer and gigged with numerous UK bands, such as Chico Majara and Henry & The Apostles.
