    Distance: mi
Guitar Center Redmond 7430 164th Ave. NE Suite B205 Redmond, WA
Nick picked up the guitar at age 13 and set out with one goal: to have fun! He started by learning classic rock songs by bands like Aerosmith, AC/DC and Van Halen. He was learning and having fun, but decided he wanted to take the next step. At 17, Nick began taking private lessons with acclaimed blues/rock artist Dudley Taft, who shared with him his technique, knowledge of music theory, and many experiences as a working musician. Nick went on to study performance guitar at Willamette University and later study audio production at San Francisco State University. Nick comes from a fun-loving family with an eclectic taste in music; he grew up listening to an assorted mix of classic rock, disco and big band jazz with his mom and dad, and listening to pop, rap, country and metal with his brother and sister! Nick believes that it doesn’t matter if music is loud or soft, fast or slow, happy or sad; it’s all about what resonates with you and allows you to express yourself. Nick believes that music is a journey of self-discovery which should be exciting, fulfilling and of course fun. Since we all learn in different ways and have different musical tastes, it’s important to take an individualized approach to music – to first discover what about music resonates with us, and then set continuously set goals to improve how we express ourselves musically, ultimately building confidence, technique and a solid foundation of music theory.
