Established in 2006, Guitar Center in Gilroy, CA has quickly become a staple in the local music community.
Known for being the garlic capital of the world, and home to the world famous annual Garlic Festival, Gilroy is a vibrant agricultural city, diverse in culture, and one that takes pride in a hard day’s work! Like the festival, we too hope to be world renowned for our outstanding customer service, and understand that in today’s competitive market, you deserve the best deal possible, along with the best service, and we’ve got it right here!

Our mission is simple. To help you make music. Our staff is knowledgeable, and all staff members are expert certified through Guitar Center’s extensive training program. We’re trained on the latest and greatest gear, and we are all musicians. You will often hear the words “party” and “awesome” when visiting our store because we believe that life is what you make it, and that fun is an essential part of the shopping experience whenever visiting a Guitar Center store.

We’ve got thousands of items to choose from in the store!  Whether you are an aspiring musician, or a seasoned professional, we have the ability and know how to help you achieve your musical dreams. Our guitar department has hundreds of guitars and amps to choose from, acoustic and electric, and our used section is simply amazing!  From a small practice amp or starter guitar, to that highly collectible piece, we’ve got it, and the price is right!

If you’re a DJ, look no further. We’ve got an amazing DJ room with lights and smoke machines to boot.  You can try out the latest in DJ controllers on our computers, which are always set up and running.  We have the professionals you need to help set up stage lighting for your own venue, or put together a mobile lighting set-up.  We have the latest in recording software, and sell Apple computers right in our store!  Whether you’re recording or doing live performance we’ve got the microphones you need! Our live sound room is stacked with the latest and greatest PA systems and speakers which are all set up and ready to demo along with a light show, so you can get the full club or stage experience any day of the week.

Are you a drummer? Awesome! Our drum room boasts the largest selection of kits in the area! We’ve got acoustic kits, electric kits, and a cymbal room that will blow you away! Come in and ask an associate for a set of sticks so you can try them all out. We just had our annual drum off competition here in the store, and it was simply amazing! 

Need some strings? Maybe a tuner?  That little part for your guitar, or a cool T-shirt of your favorite guitar or amp brand? Then head over to our accessories section where we can help you get what you need. We’ve got a bunch of really cool pedals on display and demo ready for you to try out the latest and greatest effects all day long! So whatever it is you may need, come on down and we’ll help you get it.
