The Pasadena Guitar Center first opened its doors in October of 2002.  We are proud to be the premier musical instrument retailer for the San Gabriel Valley.  We have dedicated ourselves to helping our community make music.  We have an amazing selection of new and used gear.  Here are some of the cool things we've got going on.

The Vault - This is where we have some of the best guitars and amps displayed and ready for sampling.  We have some of the finest Gibson, Fender, Ibanez, Gretsch, and PRS guitars on display here.  We also have Egnator, Orange , Fender and other fine brands of amplifiers.

Boutique Pedals - We have really stepped up our selection of cool pedals.  Brands like MXR, Way Huge, Lovepedal, Fulltone, Zvex, Electro Harmonix, TREX, and more are available. The Acoustic Corral – Take a step into this wooden paradise and you will be surrounded by a great selection of acoustic and classical guitars.  We have Martin, Taylor, Gibson, Seagull, Takamine, Yamaha, Breedlove and many other brands.  Our banjos, mandolins, and Dobros are also here.

The Rumble Room - This is where we keep our excellent selection of electric basses and bass amps.  We are proud to carry Musicman, Ibanez, Fender, Schecter, Gibson, Ampeg, Gallien Grueger, Acoustic, Mark Bass, and more.  We have a great selection

Pasadena drum shop - Step under the giant DW snare and enter a community within a community.  Our expert staff of drummers love meeting new drummers and percussionists.  We have a great selection of the best brands, acoustic and electric, including Pearl, Yamaha, Drum Workshop, Simmons, Roland, Sound Percussion and more.

Live Sound DJ - We have a huge selection of PA systems, DJ systems, microphones, etc.  Whether you are a outfitting a church, nightclub, or just rocking out at home, we carry some of the best brands in the business.  We have QSC, Crown, JBL, Yamaha, Shure, Sennheiser, Numark, Denon, Rane Serato, and a lot more.  Come down and try your hand on our digital DJ setup.

The Recording Experience - We are lucky to have a Recording Experience Expert on staff who will help you find the right recording equipment.  From a starter home studio to a large post production house, we're here to help you find the best equipment you can get.  We have great interfaces from AVID, Apogee, M Audio, Focusrite, Presonus , Lexicon, and more.  We also have a great selection of recording microphones.  Brands like Shure, Sennheiser, B.L.U.E., Sterling Audio, AKG, Neumann, Audio Technica, and Royer are all on display.  We have a recording room setup with demo ready Apple computers and a studio monitor demo station.  We have monitors from Adam, Yamaha, Dynaudio, KRK, and much more.

Keyboards - We have a contemporary keyboard room and a live stage, workstation, synth room.  We have Nord, Yamaha, Roland, Moog, keyboard synths on display for demo.

All of our departments are stocked with an ever changing , varying selection of used equipment.  At Guitar Center Pasadena we love to buy and sell used gear.  Whether you are looking to trade in and trade up or just get some cash for your old stuff, we want it.
