Don has been a member of the GC Garage program since it's inception back in 2009, although he's been a part of the GC Tulsa family since 2008. He is experienced in every facet of guitar repair, and has quickly developed a reputation in town as the go-to tech when you need it done quickly, and done expertly.

Don also keeps his customer's best interests at heart. We recently had a customer bring in his pride and joy, a late 1960s model Fender Mustang. (Sweet Candy Red with Competition stripes!) He had owned the guitar his entire adult life, but the frets were worn so badly, he wanted to get a complete re-fret ($350 if you're curious). Don took the guitar in, and after spending some time examining the frets closely, he determined that he could return the guitar to playing condition by simply doing a level/crown/polish job instead of the full re-fret. The customer would be able to get his guitar back in half the time, at less than a third of the price! $100! That's some great customer service!!
Don Smith is a huge asset to this store, and to his community. I'm proud to have him as part of the team here at Guitar Center Tulsa!
