February will packed with special events here at Guitar Center Wichita!  Recording classes, gear clinics, drum circles, and more are all in store for you this month.  Here's the schedule:

Every Saturday at 10 a.m. starting February 2nd is the return of our Recording Made Easy: Pro Tools 10 classes.  During the course of our four week Pro Tools classes, you will gain an understanding of home recording with Pro Tools 10, including classes on audio, MIDI, mixing, and bouncing your projects.  Register here: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Recording-Made-Easy-g26448t0.gc

Joining the Saturday morning lineup at Guitar Center is Family Drum Circle in our Drum department, starting Saturday, February 2nd at 10:15 a.m.  Playing with the family is a great way to strengthen ties, open up lines of communication, and have some fun! Finally, Guitar Center is adding a new series of Wednesday night events, called the Music Mentor series.  The Music Mentor program is a series of free workshops, with a new topic every week in a different department.  The series kicks off Wednesday night, February 6th at 7 p.m. with our Understanding DJ Gear workshop in our Pro Audio department.  We'll discuss everything from CD players, vinyl turntables, computer DJ'ing with controllers and software, as well as lighting, sound, and production of EDM.  The complete schedule for Guitar Center's Music Mentor Series is as follows:
