    Joey once asked his mother for piano lessons and she said no. This did not discourage him however from learning on his own. At the age of ten, Joey was determined to learn it all by himself. After high school, Joey went on to study at Gledale Community College and Transferred to Arizona State University where he is currently majoring in Music learning and teaching with a minor in piano. His favorite genres to sing are classical and R&B. Favorite composers consist of Chopin, Hadyn, and Mozart. He hopes to be a professor one day at a university, spending his days doing what he loves; teaching music for hours and hours.

    Joe started playing drums in elementary school and was lucky enough to get started with formal instruction right away. Like a lot of young musicians Joe was involved in anything musically he could sink his teeth into. By High School Joe was marching in drum and bugle corps along with his high school marching band. In addition he was in concert band, wind ensemble, and Jazz ensemble. Joe auditioned for and was accepted to the North Jersey Area Band which selected the best student musicians in northern New Jersey. Joe started his post high school studies at William Patterson State University in Wayne, N.J. but ultimately earned his degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ma. After graduating Joe started to offer lessons in the Boston area, at the same time he was playing in two and three bands at a time. Joe currently plays in the local band Audio Freak and is a teaching artist at the Phoenix Conservatory of Music.
