I am a passionate instructor who enjoy working with my students, music is a universal language that speaks from every culture and race. I began teaching 20 years ago, and I teach how to play drums and read music. I teach a variety of techniques and styles of music, using books playing music, and making up lessons for my students. For younger and beginner students I typically start with a level Drums one book, once the student has progressed, I will begin to introduce more complicated styles and techniques.     Dean Adelman Bio- Drum Instructor A Miami Florida native with over 40 years of experience as a drummer in all genres of music. Dean began playing at 10 years of age after hearing Wipe Out by the Safaris and was determined to learn the drum part. It was a this point that he began formal training, and notes he has not stopped learning since. He was the lead snare drummer in his High School drum line all 4 years. Dean began performing professionally in his junior year of High School, and has been playing in both secular and liturgical venues ever since. Dean was a recipient of a full music scholarship at Broward Community College Central Campus in Davie Florida from 1979-1981. He studied throughout his college years, training with the likes of Steve Rucker of the University of Miami Frost School of Music/drummer for the Bee Gees, as well as with local Miami greats Sonny Mange and Steve Bagby. Dean was the winner of the Charlotte NC Sam Ash Drum-Off in 2016. In August of 2021, Dean was accepted to the prestigious Berklee School of Music On-Line Program. Dean has continued to instruct privately and give occasional clinics over the past several years. Currently, Dean continues to instruct and and play for private and public venues. In Dean's personal time he can be found spending time with his family and friends, playing tennis, practicing martial arts and enjoy tutoring math and science.

I've been playing guitar and bass for over fourteen years and have studied a multitude of different styles of playing ranging from blues to jazz to rock. I've been involved with music since the age of twelve, and have studied music at LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts in New York and institutions such as Berklee College of Music in Boston where I honed my skills and knowledge of music theory.     Having grown up in New England in the early 00's, Laz heard a lot of music from bands like ACDC, The Beatles, Peter Frampton, The Doors, Citizen Cope, Beethoven, Smashing Pumpkins, Santana, Vivaldi, Queen, Audioslave, Gorillaz, Gypsy Kings, Rage Against the Machine, Pink Floyd, Mozart, Nirvana, Muse, and Rodrigo y Gabriela, before receiving his first electric guitar at the age of 15. He has since been in a handful of bands playing mostly guitar but sometimes bass or percussion, and with styles ranging from reggae to metal and just about everything in between.
