My name is Kismat D Shrestha, 30, originally from Nepal. Music has always been one of the top priorities in my life. Initially music came to me in the form beating the drums. I started playing drums at the age of six and since then there has been no looking back. Playing in bands and groups right from my childhood helped me learn the intricacies of music making first hand. I joined Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory in 2008 and this made a big positive change in my musical living. Playing with different visiting teachers, playing in Combos, Big Band, learning music theories, jazz theories, jazz history, piano, guitar etc helped me furthermore in gaining detailed knowledge of what music is, especially jazz. For the past 9 years or so I have also been involved with one of the most popular rock groups of the country, Albatross. After releasing the fourth album of the band entitled Ma Ra Malai, I have travelled around the globe with Albatross as well as as many different bands and artists. Hi! I'm Dalton, one of the guitar and bass teachers here at your Maple Grove Guitar Center. I've been making and studying music for over twenty years! I'm an alum of the U of M, Institute of Production and Recording, McNally/Smith, and the Defense Language Institute (Hablo Espanol). While rock and metal are where i spend most of my creative time, I'm equally comfortable in Classic Rock, Jazz, Shred, Classical, Pop, Funk, Shoegaze, Hip Hop, you name it! Hi, I'm John. I am an instructor at Maple Grove Guitar Center. I studied at MacPhail's for classical guitar and vocals, and have been playing the guitar for decades. I've done recording with Joey Moen from Bad Finger, and live performance with groups such as Crow, The Litter, and currently Artisan.
