Charles began playing drums almost 30 years ago and began gigging live shortly thereafter. Charles studied drums throughout high school and college. After graduating from the Florida State University, he became a high school English teacher following a stint in the U.S. Marines. Charles continues to record, play live, and instruct high school drum lines today. His specialties are metal, funk, marching percussion, and drum restoration and repair.
Charles has been teaching drums for 20 years. He has taught drum corps at Olathe Kansas School District and potential rock stars. He has also played drums for a number of bands and has been a studio session drummer.

Todd Smith is a lifelong musician. He grew up playing music with his father; who was the leader of his band and worship groups for over 50 years and is still admired by all who had the grace of hearing him sing and play. Todd has been playing guitar and bass guitar for 35 years and has received private instruction from various talented instructors and musicians. Todd has also taught many students over the years that went on to be fantastic accomplished and well rounded musicians. He can sight read bass and treble clef, as well as tab. He has taken several music theory courses; he learned the fundamentals of classical, and pop music. Todd knows how important the right vibe is when learning; it’s imperative for the student to connect in a way that helps them focus, and relax. Being in the right mindset is as important as practice, because it motivates us to perform better. He knows there is a balance between fun and discipline. Knowing when to use either approach will bring vastly different performances. This usually brings forth a constant rotation of ideas with structure to rely on when called upon.

Paul is an accomplished music instructor with 49 years experience learning, playing, and teaching music. He studied with 6 years of formal guitar lessons from DeLuca's Music, Wilkes-Barre, PA. With an impressive history as a member of over 18 bands, he's very passionate about teaching and helping others achieve their musical goals. Paul can assist with reading treble clef, bass clef, and tablature. He is currently in 3 groups, 2 acoustic and 1 electric.

Mallory Watson is a multi-instrumentalist teacher, songwriter, and performer with a theory-forward approach to teaching keyboard lessons. Mallory graduated in 2023 from Western Washington University with a Bachelor's degree in Music Production and Screen Scoring, and has since been teaching as well as continuing to record and perform original music. When teaching, Mallory aims to cultivate musical appreciation and exploration while leading students to their short-term and long-term goals. Mallory enjoys teaching any genre or style, and personally favors experimental electronic music and film music.

Jamison is an American Indie Folk/Multi-Genre composer, multi-instrumentalist, studio musician, audio engineer, producer and instructor. Performing since the age of 10, Jamison is predominantly known for his innovative fingerstyle guitar, pedal steel, banjo and dobro playing. He has been a part of bands including Pretty Broken Things, Lofty Stills, Ghost Ship, Other Desert Cities, Ivan & Alyosha and Tyler Edwards. He's also shared the stage with The Head and The Heart, Damien Jurado, Deep Sea Diver, David Bazan, Noah Gundersen, Sean Nelson (of Harvey Danger), Wilde Belle, The Coronas, David Immerglück (of Counting Crows) and Langehorne Slim. With over 20 years of experience teaching, Jamison always makes learning music fun and engaging; he believes that every student is unique and adjusts accordingly. Jamison loves to teach and is passionate about passing along what he knows!

By day, Dr. Kierra M. Smith is a dedicated Doctor of Chiropractic, helping individuals achieve optimal health and wellness. By night—and whenever the rhythm calls—she is a passionate and versatile percussionist with over two decades of experience. From grade school to the national stage, she has cultivated a deep love for drumming, mastering various styles and instruments along the way.
Kierra’s journey with percussion began in grade school, where she developed a strong foundation in rhythm and technique. As the section leader of her high school marching band, she led with precision and passion, further shaping her leadership and performance skills. She continued her musical journey at Bethune-Cookman University, playing tenor drums and refining her craft in a high-energy, disciplined environment.
Her talent has taken her to the national stage, performing as a drummer for the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education. She is also a proud member of Tau Beta Sigma, a national honorary band sorority dedicated to the advancement of music and musicianship.
Throughout her career, Kierra has played in a variety of ensembles, including orchestras, marching bands, and church bands. She currently serves as the on-staff drummer at Faith Tabernacle Fellowship in Everett, WA, bringing depth, energy, and dynamic expression to worship services. As a percussionist, she primarily plays drum set and djembe but is always eager to learn and explore new techniques.
Proficient in multiple styles—including gospel, funk, R&B, soul, Latin, rock, country, and worship music—Kierra is always seeking new opportunities to expand her musical repertoire and collaborate with other artists.
A true percussionist at heart, Kierra’s passion for drumming extends beyond performance. She is committed to mentorship, education, and inspiring others through the power of rhythm. Whether in the clinic or behind the drum set, she brings dedication, precision, and heart to everything she does.

Frank is an experienced music instructor specializing in rock, blues, jazz and metal. He studied classical guitar and composition at Western Washington University earning a Bachelor of Music. After graduating, he taught music at Evergreen Music School where he developed and implemented engaging lesson plans for students of all ages and and skill levels. Frank has written and performed in projects spanning progressive metal, Latin jazz ensembles, jazz trios and big bands, classical guitar ensembles including the Western Classical Guitar Ensemble while attending college. He is also best known for his role of lead guitarist for Bellingham Progressive Metal project Tetrachromat winning What's Up Magazine's Best New Metal Act Award in 2016.

Miguel has played guitar for over a decade. He studied music at Arizona Western College and the University of Arizona. Miguel performed as a member of the Tucson Guitar Society Orchestra and competed as a finalist in the Bolton Guitar Studies’ Wolfe Competition. Miguel continues his music career post-university as a member of two Seattle-based bands. As a teacher, he specializes in classical, indie/alternative, rock, and some jazz stylings.

Lydia fell in love with music when she was in her first musical at 7 years old. Since then, she has been singing and playing piano in many contexts including private teaching, cabarets, music directing, songwriting, and performing in musicals professionally. With over 20 years of experience singing a variety of styles ranging from musical theatre to jazz, classical, and pop, she is prepared to give you the skills to sing with agility, proper support, control, and creative expression. She has been playing piano for over 10 years, with an emphasis on classical, and basic knowledge of jazz technique. She is skilled at re-arranging pieces for small hands—which is extremely beneficial for younger students who want to play complex pieces but have not grown enough to physically reach the keys yet. Lydia seeks to give all her students the confidence, tools, and technique that will strengthen and promote longevity to sing or play with passion.
