    Calvin has been a performing drummer and percussionist for 14 years, with experience in concert percussion, mallet percussion, marching percussion, and drum set. In high school, he fell in love with drumline and marching band, with ambitions to participate in Drum and Bugle Corps, he began to build his chops, and attended the audition camps of the Cavaliers of Rosemont, IL, and the Colts of Dubuque, IA, auditioning for the tenor line. Calvin is currently an active member of the Tundraline, the official drumline of the Green Bay Packers, and has performed for crowds of up to 80,000. Calvin also has experience in drum set, having played in churches, bars, auditoriums, and anywhere else he has a chance to perform. Calvin is always looking to grow in his art, and wants to help anyone who is interested in learning as well.

    I began playing music as a young child, and in the decades since have been the lead and rhythm guitarist, lead and backing vocalist, bassist, and even keyboardist, for numerous bands across the country, including 4-Warned, Snaglepuss, The Hard Country Outlaws, Les Lokey & the Monster Medicine Show, The Bootie Fish Ticklers, The Michael Brooks Band, Kopper Kreek, The Psychobilly Death Clowns, Moonshine Eclipse, and presently the guitarist for Eight Second Ride. In that time, I have explored playing styles ranging from classical to jazz, but more often gravitate towards country-rock, classic-rock, blues, funk, and metal. When teaching music, I am less rigid than most conventional teachers, as I prefer to teach the student what they want to learn and enjoy playing.
