On the 23rd day of March in the year 2000 the Western New York music scene was changed forever with the opening of Guitar Center on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Tonawanda.  In a community rich with musical genetics taken from the DNA of artists like Rick James, Billy Sheehan, The Goo Goo Dolls, Ani DiFranco, and 10,000 Maniacs, Guitar Center is proud to offer the Queen City and her surrounding cities and towns the largest selection of musical gear in the area.   The diverse staff of sales associate within these walls of brick and mortar are hard working musicians, DJs, producers and engineers in their own right and stand ready to help you achieve your musical aspirations.

Guitar Center carries a full range of the most well known brands of acoustic, electric and bass guitars along with some of the top names in amplification within the industry.  Names like Gibson, Fender, PRS, Musicman, Marshall, VOX, Mesa Boogie, Ampeg, and Markbass scratch the surface of our assortment.  If you wish to crank it up to eleven we offer a loud lounge where players can test the limits and full capabilities of our collection of gear.  We want to make sure you purchase the right piece of equipment the first time and provide you with the time and space necessary to make important decisions about your instruments.

We are also proud to offer the services of our GC Garage, a full service guitar tech shop right on premises.  From minor adjustments and string changes to full setups, fret work and headstock repair GC Garage is staffed five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday to accommodate your guitar and bass maintenance needs.
