Guitar Center came to Concord, California in 1998 with a huge Grand Opening on Willow Pass Rd.  For 13 years the Concord Guitar Center has been helping the people of the East Bay MAKE MUSIC.  Our friendly and engaging staff has had the opportunity to sell the tools of the trade to some of Rock's greatest stars.  From Kirk Hammett and Jason Newsted of Metallica to Billy Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Guitar Center has kept the East Bay's Rock Stars well stocked and ready to play.  But our true passion lies in serving EVERY musician's needs every day.  With our great selection of all the major brands of guitars, basses, keyboards, amps, and drums we can't HELP but make your visit amazing.

In addition to all of the rock and roll madness, Concord's Guitar Center supports the Bay Area's thriving DJ and Dance scene with a commitment to a HUGE assortment of turntables, PA systems, CD players, Software, and the latest in hi-tech lighting effects.  Stop by and talk to one of several local gigging DJ's that call Guitar Center home.  Our staff has extensive knowledge of the latest software and old school turntablism tools (Guitar Center is one of the very few to still carry NEW technics Turntables.). Any of our DJ staff are happy to consult, advise, and assist the professional DJ as well as the beginner.

We are also your one stop shop for high end or bedroom studio gear.  We have the names, pricing, and selection you need to make music!  Our talented and informative staff maintain their recording education and stay on top of all the latest technology.  Come by on any given Saturday morning at 10 AM and experience our Recording Made Easy clinic for the information you need to start recording in a way that makes the process easy to understand and WAY less intimidating than digging in on your own.
