It's a legacy location located in the Silicon Valley, and serves many special musical communities such as Santa Clara, Campbell, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, Mountain View, Los Gatos, Cuppertino, Fremont, Hayward and Palo Alto to name a few, full of diversity. We're not just a music store - We're You're Music Store!!!
We're lucky to be blessed with a great location, which provides the perfect place to hold cool clinics and events. Just in the past year or so, we've hosted clinics with Steve Morse (Dixie Dregs/Deep Purple)/Steve Lukather (Toto) for Ernie Ball/MusicMan, Alan White (Yes) for Ludwig, Danny Seraphine (Chicago) for Zildjian, Luis Conte (Award Winning Percussionist, Eric Clapton, Madonna, etc...) for Meinl, as well as clinics by Avid, EV, Taylor as well as Gibson.
Guitar Center San Jose also hosts an annual King Of The Blues Guitar Competition, Drum Off, and now we have added a Singer/Songwriter contest. And we have to tell you, at Guitar Center San Jose, we dive in headfirst, and love to throw a party!!!
The store boasts some of the world's finest Platinum instruments in it's PLATINUM ROOM. Gibson, Fender Custom Shop, PRS, Ernie Ball/MusicMan - we've got more than any other place in Northern California. Our diverse staff can help you find the next addition to your collection, of help you pick out the right one for your first guitar. Do you need someone to make your instrument really sing? We're proud to announce the arrival of Garrett Lee Davis, our new GC Garage tech. He's a graduate of the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery.
Our Drum shop is also among the finest anywhere, we have over 65 New, Electronic & Used out on the floor, with a staff who's ready and knowledgeable, ready to help you find exactly what you're looking for. We've got DW, Tama, Gretsch, Pearl, and many other great brands of drums. Percussion, wow, you have to visit the store and see all of the Cajon's, Djembe's....the list goes on and on.
Our Pro Audio department is home to some of the most knowledgeable guys in the business, some of the finest Guitar Center has to offer. QSC, Roland, Mackie, Avid, Korg, Yamaha...the list goes on and on. They host a Recording Made Easy Clinic each & every Saturday morning at 10am to help everyone take that first step into recording, or fine tune the experienced. Come on in any Saturday, and we'll make room for you!
We have the largest Accessories Department in Northern California. More Books, DVD's, Pedals, Strings, Tuners...you get the idea!!! We also have recently added a great selection of Brass & Woodwind Accessories to our selection, making this the only music store you'll ever need to visit. Ever.
