Sharvin Moorer
Distance: mi
Guitar Center Pensacola 6927 N. 9th Ave. Pensacola, FL
After almost thirty years of teaching percussion both on and off the field, Sharvin Moorer carries a full set of expertise into our studio each week. As a performer, he has participated in SouthWind and worked with artists such as Fred Hammond and Deitrick Haddon. During the season, Mr. Moorer leads high school marching percussionists from home games to on-stage championships. Many students know Mr. Moorer's motto: "I won't be satisfied until you're better than me." Not every student will be the next Tony Royster Jr, but all students should leave each week with a renewed sense of purpose in music. Often, students with special needs gain this purpose from the extra attention that individual instruction provides. It is Mr. Moorer's mission to create a welcoming environment to foster lifelong learners (and lovers!) of music.
