Like most people, I come from humble beginnings...the Squire starter pack. As a young lad, I would spend my days playing along to the records of my youth: American Idiot and Hybrid Theory. After years of intense study, I would enroll in my Middle School’s prestigious Jazz Ensemble. There I would find my love of Black Art Music after being acquainted with the forgotten “Boogie-Woogie Bugle Boy” of Company B. Soon after I would attend Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School majoring in Music. During this time I would begin to hone my skills in Jazz as well as Pedagogy as I began taking a small number of private students at the time as well as began teaching at the after-school Henry Mancini Arts Academy. Following High School, I left Pittsburgh to get my Bachelor’s Degree from Bowling Green State University. After four years in the shed, I returned to Pittsburgh to continue my career as a pedagogue and sideman extraordinaire.
