Rigo teaches drum set, and many percussion instruments such as hand drums and mallet for all styles and skill levels. Rigo has 40+ years of playing experience. Born Puerto Rico, Rigo began playing congas at age eleven while taking lessons from legendary Puerto Rico percussionist Pablo El Indio Rosario.
At fourteen, he began playing drums for bands while continuing his studies with Samuel Lifschitz and Tony Sanchez. Rigo continued his studies at The Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California.
Rigo returned to Puerto Rico after graduating and began work on the then popular TV Show "Dame Un Break" Where he worked for 11 years.
In 2001, Rigo created "Rigodrum", where he taught Percussion for many years. Rigo has played with various such as Carlos Santana, Ziggy Marley, and many more as an opening
