Matt Bieth

Matt Bieth received his Bachelor’s in Music with college honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle. He went on towards teaching certification at Northern Illinois University. Matt began teaching private lessons while still in community college. His student roster grew during the early nineties when he had nearly eighty students per week. Matt played drums in a cover band while in the sixth grade. It was then he began recording as well. Through time and practice Matt gained professional standing amongst the music community in the suburbs of Chicago. Eventually, he would play and record with notable artists such as: Tim Gant (Aretha Franklin, Backstreet Boys), L.A. concert promoter Happin Harry, Jerry Reed (Guns and Roses), Rowan Robertson (Dio), Michael Angelo Batio, Robert Williams (Funkadelics), Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative), amongst others. Matt Bieth has two recordings: “The Matt Bieth Show” is a full length album featuring originals and covers from artists Ratt, Ozzy, Vince Guaraldi, and Rihanna. “Shredded Mini Bieths” is an EP of original compositions with a darker vibe.
