Welcome to Guitar Center in Tempe, AZ, where the average year round temperature is 81 degrees!  This location opened in 1998 and was the first Guitar Center in the valley.  We are located on the southeast corner of Priest and Elliot in the Costco shopping plaza.  Tempe is the home to ASU, Mill Ave and some of the best music venues in the country.

This location is the busiest store in the state.  Because of that we have access to exclusive lines, the coolest new gear, a larger assortment of items and more products in stock for your musical needs.   To top it all off, Tempe has won awards for best store in the district, region and chain overall.

GC Garage – We have two technicians at this location, which allows us to have somebody on hand seven days a week to make sure you get the fastest possible turnaround on all your instrument repairs.  Both of our techs are graduates of Roberto-Venn and are certified luthiers.  Whether you need a basic restring or a complete refret, our techs are here to help!
 
Used Gear- We buy, sell and trade over 1,000 used items a year in Tempe.  Our selection ranges from entry level instruments to boutique items you rarely ever see.  We typically have over 300 used items in the store at any given time so a wide selection of available used treasure is guaranteed.

Recording Experience- Want to check out the latest new software programs before you buy?  We have two fully interactive iMacs to enable you to get “hands on” and demo hundreds of software programs available from the top manufacturers before you purchase them.
 
Recording Classes- Every Saturday at 10AM we host a recording clinic to introduce you to the basics of recording, mixing and publishing your music from home.  Our instructors Kyle and Gus are both are graduates of The Conservatory of Recording Arts.  They are here to help you with any questions you may have from beginner to advanced techniques.  Stop by and say hi!
