I was born in Salt Lake and raised in Wyoming with a healthy diet of classic alternative, rock, and jazz. I started playing the drum set and keyboard at age 7 and I've spent thousands of hours with several teachers utilizing vastly different teaching methods. I've played classical percussion for over ten years and am equally at home behind a percussion pit and a drum set. I have experience as a jazz drummer in big bands and small ensembles. I've also drummed for several contemporary bands playing both live and in the studio. This has allowed me to spend a lot of time blending with other musicians and playing coordinated music tightly as well as improvising. My teaching style aims to encompass several different skill sets including standard music notation, reading, writing, theory, and the ability to listen to music and break it down into learnable parts for independent study. My favorite drummers are John Bonham of Led Zeppelin, George Daniel of The 1975, and Jimmy Chamberlin of The Smashing Pumpkins.

Hailing from Long Island, New York, I've been exposed to all kinds of music over the years from jazz to heavy metal and everything in between. Which at a very young age did nothing short of intrigue me and get me hooked to the wonderful world of music. Growing up, any instrument that I could get my hands on, I wanted to learn and had a drive like no other to do so. At age 11 I began my drumming journey studying everything including playing drum set, marching percussion, and concert percussion, and by age 15, not only had I been learning drums, guitar, piano, and bass, I had also found something to strengthen that love for music, audio recording. Over the years, I have had the opportunity of learning from great drummers such as Frank Bellucci, well known jazz drummer for several years, as well as Mark Schulman, drummer of Pink, and John Miceli, the drummer of Meatloaf as well as many other skilled professionals. I've done countless live performances and I have played in many notable NYC venues such as the Highline Ballroom, The Bitter End, as well as the World Trade Center Memorial site to name a few. I am currently a student at CRAS, the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, pursuing my training and certifications as an audio engineer.

I have been involved in the beautiful world music for 30 plus years which included playing the alto and tenor saxophone and piano. I am currently a certified music teacher for grades 6-12 at Imagine Schools here in the Valley as my day job. My music classes involve my students in learning piano and choir. I also engage my students in music history where they learn different genres of music and various artist in the music industry. When I am not teaching during the I was able to start my own jazz band which originated from Detroit, Michigan and have played in places such as Atlanta, Las Vegas, L.A., and Denver just to name a few. While playing with my band I began to further my belief that music is very much a universal language that all walks of life enjoy. I look forward to sharing this wonderful world music with you and hope to see you soon.

Hi! I am a seasoned singer-songwriter, recording artist, performer, educator, performance coach, and social work student (fun fact!) hailing from the hustle and bustle of New York City! I view vocal coaching as a holistic practice; I firmly believe that voice should be taught as a means of furthering self-expression and self-development. Combining standard vocal technique and performance coaching with breathwork, nervous system regulation, and other personal/professional insights from my expansive background in music business, personal training, mental health and general/special education, I am well-equipped to provide skills that can be used in auditions, on stage, and in day-to-day life. As a soon-to-be therapist (ASU) and competitive performer of 20+ years, I am especially equipped to work with nervous students, neuro-divergent learners, and those who would like extra assistance in developing their stage presence. I have years of experience auditioning, performing, and teaching in New York City's respective jazz, rock & roll, musical theatre, singer-songwriter, and opera scenes, and have plenty of experience recording/publishing/marketing my original music, as well. I'm very excited to begin a new chapter here in Arizona, teaching you all! I can't wait to see you in the studio!
