Rafael Berrones is a guitarist and instrumentalist from Bakersfield, CA. Originally from Delano, CA, Rafael's journey began at the age of 13 when he was inspired by one of his good friends to pursue music. He began with a simple chord book that his father got for him and taught himself how to play guitar. Moving into high school his music teacher took a notice into his chord knowledge and invited him to join a contemporary music class. Through this class Rafael was able to develop skills and tools to be able to confidently play across many types of genres. Moving on from his schooling, Rafael further honed his skills and began playing guitar in live settings with bands and even taking it a step further in stepping into recording and doing session work. Most recently, Rafael has taken steps into music education and teaches music to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities at a local nonprofit. With his experience he hopes to be able to inspire and build up the next generation of excellent musicians!

Celeste Estes is a pianist and floutist from Bakersfield, CA. Celeste began her musical journey as a young kid singing in children’s choir and taking dance class. Around the age of 10, she took an interest in piano and took her first class from a lady at her church. After a year or so of developing her skills on the piano she began learning how to play the flute. After a sudden departure from her piano teacher, her and her parents discussed the future of lessons and decided to focus more on the flute. Naturally, flute became her main priority for an extensive time until she became an adult where she started investing more in piano, studying at college and then privately. Throughout college, Celeste played flute in the college band, community band and various projects involving choirs and musical productions. After receiving her degree with a minor in music and her B.A. in Spanish, Celeste moved towards teaching in the schools where she would further her skills and teaching experience. Alongside her flute capabilities she has spent the last 20 years now investing more in her ability to play the piano. She has been teaching piano for several years and flute in the past. She truly enjoys the experience of helping raise the next generation of musicians along with mentoring adults. As Celeste begins her teaching journey at Guitar Center, she is excited to bring even more people to music!

Devon Kinnard is a drummer from Bakersfield, CA. Devon began his musical journey as a young kid joining his school's marching band program at the age of 13. As he learned more he began to fall in love with drums and began playing the drum kit in his school's jazz program. This in turn led him to develop the skills to play his first gigs around town as a teenager. After years of experience Devon began to create his own style. His style is influenced by Classic Rock, Alternative, 80’s - 90’s, Grunge, Indie and Lo – Fi type of genres. Nearly 20 years later, Devon has played with dozens of groups both locally, around California, and beyond. He continues to work in town as both a live and session drummer. Devon has performed with bands and artists such as Imperial Stout, Lou Beauty, Bakersfield College Drumline, and Broken City Percussion. He has also done session work with Back Bricks Recording studio as a drummer. As Devon continues his teaching journey from Kern County High School District to Guitar Center, he is excited to be a part of a program that helps students refine their skills and express themselves in a creative way!

Daniela Flores Rivas is an independent artist/composer from Madrid, Spain. Born originally in the states, Daniela's musical journey began at just the age of 4 when she discovered she had a gift for singing. Eventually she began singing in choirs and did that for 10 years. Throughout Daniela's youth going into adolescence, she picked up and learned how to play multiple instruments including, ukulele, and eventually the guitar around 2019. Moving on, Daniela went on to study at TAI Escuela Universitaria de Artes in Spain, Madrid. Here she spent a majority of time studying music and working with other artists within the film industry. Here she had the privilege to work in professional studios in Madrid and with some very influential musicians. She also worked with many film students making original music and scores for independent directors. She graduated from TAI Escuela Universitaria with an A.A. in music production and creation. Daniela has since returned to the states and is now attending school at Bakersfield College to further her studies. In the meantime, she will continue to make music for film students abroad and locally, while also making her own independent EP with flamenco and urban influences. Alongside her composition work and studio time, Daniela has taught music privately and in class settings. She worked with a local non-profit organization based in Bakersfield, CA called TYM4C. Here she taught elementary school students how to sing, play guitar, and even how to write songs. While in Spain, she gave private lessons to young kids on piano, guitar, and vocals in both Spanish and English. Daniela now teaches at Guitar Center to help reach even more students and bring even more students to music!

Milton Selis Tinoco is a bassist/guitarist located in Bakersfield, CA. Born in Nicaragua and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, Milton started his musical journey at the young age of 13 as a bass player. He had previously started as a singer when he was 6, then transitioned to drums, and then later to bass. Milton attended, studied and graduated from Nicaraguan Politechnical University Music Conservatory, which is a sister music college of Berklee College of Music. He also attended the Nicaraguan National Conservatory for pop singing and vocal coaching. With his wide variety of experience and education, Milton has been able to play with different bands, artists and offer music lessons to anyone wanting to learn. On the teaching side, Milton has been a music teacher since 2012; teaching many different generations of bass players and giving a wide variety of knowledge for all music genres. He also worked for Bansbach Nicaragua as a music instructor. Andrew Morgan is a drummer from Bakersfield, CA. Andrew’s musical journey began at 11 years old when he began playing the drum set.
